Pair of George Grove (Attributed) English Georgian Cast Brass Fluted Shaft Candlesticks, 1790-1800
Pair of Georgian core cast brass candlesticks attributed to George Grove. The candlesticks feature a candle cup seated above a waisted turning on a square gadroon edge drip pan above the fluted columnar shaft. The shaft is peened to a square domed base with gadroon edge Birmingham, England, circa 1790.

Pair of English tavern candlesticks, with an elongated candle cup on a tubular shaft. The shaft is interrupted by a beaded edge, concave molding, repeated at the base joining the circular dished base and peened to the shaft. One candlestick is slightly shorter than the other. England, 1850-1900. Dimensions: 5-3/4” D x 16-3/4” – 17-1/8" H
