Ysabel pattern by Brandy Velten

Named for the fantasy novel by Canadian author, Guy Gavriel Kay, Ysabel is a crescent-shaped shawl knit primarily in squishy garter stitch. The shawl’s defining feature are the short row shaped stripes that are designed to highlight the gorgeous variegated colors of hand-painted yarns.
