Vintage Sterling Story Teller Cuff Bracelet by Los Ballesteros. This gorgeous overlay bracelet of solid 925 sterling silver features a village scene with a cathedral, a plaza with well, houses with tile roofs. A very unusual piece! Jalil Majul Ballesteros began a family jewelry business in Iguala about 1937 after training with his father. In 1941, they moved to Taxco and the company became known as Talleres de Los Ballesteros. The company is still in operation, with several shop locations in Mexico. ERA: Retro, 1960s METAL/MATERIAL: 925 Sterling Silver HALLMARKS/HISTORY: Stamped on reverse of cuff: STERLING encircling 925, TALLERES DE LOS BALLESTEROS TAXCO GRO encircling the Hallmark, HECHO EN MEXICO. It also displays the Eagle Mark of 42 and a stamped 77. CONDITION: Very Good Vintage Condition, very slightly out of round SIZE/MEASUREMENTS: 1 3/8 inch wide and 6 3/4 inch from end to end, with a 1 1/8 inch gap. Total wearable length is 7 7/8 inches.
