Fehrle (1884-1974) Scarce 1931 with Black-Patinated Cast Iron on Oak Base Sculpture "Zickkin" The Kid Goat ~ Cast at Germany's Oldest Foundries: Schwäbische Hüttenwerke size: 7 1/8" tall * 6" long * 2 1/2" wide condition: looks to be an early casting for the mold as it still has a great deal of detail. (Later castings seem to have lost a lot of their wool / coat detail.) The oak base shows age and wear. There is a old missing wood splinter from the bottom of the base. See pictures 9 and 10.
