Your sins deserve condemnation, and freeing you from that didn’t come cheap, because in God’s perfect justice system, blood has to be shed in order for there to be forgiveness (Hebrews 9:22). So to get us to the Good News, we first have to ask a really important question: “Why did Jesus have to die?” I mean, God had the power to stop it. The crucifixion wasn’t a surprise to Him; it was all part of the plan. J
