This seascape was inspired by the way light stretches across an image using long exposure photography. This oil painting shows a wave cresting across a deep blue ocean. Lit by the sun the images creates a yellow and white light contrasting shades of emerald green, turquoise, grey, marine blue. The dark blue makes me think of the depth of the ocean, whilst the grey, greens and whites makes me think of the action of the waves and the strength of the sea.
