Clay Experiments
This bowl was the first test I did with these new materials, scraps from the metalworking process given to me by Alex Pole, (@alexpoleironwork), he makes lovely things. I’ve been incorporating bronze filings and hammer scale made from working steel into my stoneware clay at random since reduction firing this initial experiment. Never both again, as together they create a surface that’s perhaps a little too dramatic for my liking, although with that being said, clay that’s been trimmed away…
