Easily separate Sempervivum Hens and Chicks to grow more free plants. Sempervivum most commonly known as Hens and Chicks are easy to propagate and separate. It is a great way to grow your succulent collection. Remove the hens and chicks from the plastic nursery container and gently pull to separate each rosette. Try to get as much of the roots as possible to ensure the highest chance of success. Continue gently pulling apart each plant until you have the desired amount separated.

Graptoveria ‘Opalina’ forms tight opalescent rosettes that are smooth with a thick coating of farina (epicuticular wax). This succulent is easy to care for and great for beginners. Keep it in partial sun and it will be a powdery blue-green with a nice covering of farina. Move it into sunnier conditions and it will flush pink at the edges. Its distinctive leaves stay fairly upright and can grow into an 8 inch (20cm) wide rosette.
