How to make foam feathers for the #Cosplay Articulating Angel Wings Im building

For the Fully Articulated Wings im making I knew I would need a TON of foam feathers, but with the foam being so light weight and out of a product that melts easily I wanted to figure out a way to that i wouldnt have to glue them on one at a time. . So I decided to study bird wings closely and look at how the different layers have different sizes abd shapes of feathers then once they were cut out of the packing foam, create “feather strips” by sewing them to thin peices of felt.
