Manjushri (Wenzhu) Monastery, Chengdu, Sichuan, Southwest China | Also named Xinxiang Monastery, Wenshu Monastery is the best preserved Buddhist temple in Chengdu. Initially built during Tang Dynasty, it has a history dates back 1,300 years. Parts of Xuanzang’s skull bone are held in consecration here.
