Painting meets Photography: Color Field Gum Dichromate Prints
Using a 19th Century photographic process, Gum Dichromate, each print is handmade by mixing a light sensitive chemical with watercolor paint. Once dried, enlarged photographic mandalas are exposed into the colorful fields of emulsion. Inspirations from Abstract Expressionism, Color Field Painting, and Neo-Tantrism are instilled in this unique and historical photographic technique.
