A BELLE EPOQUE RUBY AND DIAMOND TIARA, CIRCA 1900. Silver and yellow gold 585, 40g. Tiara with garland and palmette-motifs, set with 5 pear-shaped rubies totalling ca. 11.00 ct, 2 pear-shaped old-cut diamonds weighing ca. 1.60 ct and decorated with circular- and rose-cut diamonds totalling ca. 4.00 ct. Ruby settings probably later added. L ca. 24.5 cm.

Designed as a flowering laurel wreath, inner circumference approximately 380mm, unsigned, fitted case stamped Castellani in Greek lettering.

Victorian Opal and Diamond Crown Haircomb Necklace, ca. 1880s A very unusual and stunning Victorian crown, set with fiery opal cabochons and old-mine cut diamonds, from the 1880s. The setting alternates with rows of fine opal cabochons that show a strong play of colour and rows of bright old-mine cut diamonds (ca. 12 carats), in a shell like design. It can be worn with a detachable hair comb, or as a necklace.
