🐱kitty trinket dishes✨🎀 Crafted from Canadian stoneware clay, these adorable cat dishes are wheel-thrown and hand-built, complete with little cat ears. They are carefully painted with underglaze to create a charming calico pattern, then finished with a layer of clear glaze before being fired to perfection! I really love how this batch of trinket dishes came out. Super smooth and flawless.😻 #ceramics #trinketdishes #catart #cutehomedecor Air Dry Clay Candy Dish, Cat Bowl Ceramics, Clay Cat Bowl Diy, Ceramic Cat Food Dish, Dried Clay Ideas, Pottery Ideas Animals, Ceramics Cat Bowl, Cat Plates Pottery, Nesting Bowls Ceramic Ideas

Pinched Pottery on Instagram: "7” in diameter 2” deep coiled/pinched bowl. Made with mid fire dark stoneware clay and glazed with matte green/sage glaze. Started with a ball of clay and added a few coils. I don’t use water or slip when coiling - clay has to be quite soft to be able to blend in well without water/slip. I always rough shape them first, let them dry until they are firm enough to be handled without losing their shape to do the final shaping/pinching. Julia Drews on Instagram: "Throwing a shallow stoneware bowl on the pottery wheel! ✨ If nothing else worked out in the last session on the wheel… these did, and I love the wide, shallow shape. I used a finely speckled stoneware clay, which will be really beautiful and natural when glazed glossy clear only on the inside. What do you think?" A shard of crackle glaze covered clay, together with a second image that shows a handful from my current bucket of smashed vessels that has been slowly accumulating and filling up over the past year. They’re sweet things, which I’ll save until someone approaches to find a use for them, although that hasn’t stopped me from smashing some fragments, sieving them, and adding the very fine powder back into fresh stoneware clay. Some I save for good, for no reason other than my own enjoyment, such ... Shattered Porcelain, Florian Gadsby, Food Fest, Stone Bowl, Yellow Ochre, Crackle Glaze, The Vessel, Night Owl, Iron Oxide

These pots are hand made from a stoneware clay body that is loaded with grog - grog being finely ground particles of clay that have been previously fired. This gives the surface of the pots a beautiful and subtly rough texture. The shapes are strong and sculptural, making them appropriate for a contemporary landscape. That said, these pots are also handsome with just about any architectural setting. Weather and frost resistant. Available in nordic white, new grey, and cork. #MK35: 18.1" D x…
