According to the Gregorian calendar, the ceremonies and festivities of 22nd of Bahman the anniversary of victory of the revolution end on February 11 which corresponds with 22nd of Bahman. The celebrations of the victory of the revolution begin on 1st February, which is the day Imam Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic Republic, after spending more than 14 years in exile returned to Iran. Each year, ten-day celebrations known as Dahe-ye Fajr are held across Iran to mark the event.
