In Memoriam, David Foster Wallace used for obit/article at bostonist.com/2008/09/15/bostonist_books_on_david_foster_... Such a tremendous, horrible loss. David Foster Wallace was an immense talent, arguably the best writer to emerge in the past 20 years. I'm glad I had a chance to see him read -- at the Boston Public Library after the release of A Supposedly Fun Thing I'll Never Do Again. He autographed my copy of Infinite Jest. He will be missed. Damn.
