I love using beeswax for candles because it is nontoxic, environmentally friendly and they burn cleanly. They also have a naturally beautiful honey smell, which is why I don’t add any essential oils to my candles. But it can be a bit challenging to get a perfectly poured candle. Beeswax expands as it melts, and then contracts as it hardens. Which means it can sometimes shrink in its vessel. But they are still perfectly good candles regardless of their imperfections.
