Sustainability was key when builder Steven Wade and his wife, Margaret, built their new country-style home in Winchelsea, Victoria.

Renovating her family home and reinventing it as a classic white farmhouse in the Sunshine Coast hinterland was Maree Duncombe's way of recovering from the loss of her parents. "I knew renovating the house was going to be a lot of work but I wanted it to be so beautiful that I'd never want to leave," Maree explains.
