This is a car my group and I made recently in my art class. In an artist community collaboration is important.

Excavator Halloween costume. Spray painted cardboard boxes then cut to size. Makedo Construction kit are the joiners (the arm, scoop, and wheels all move). Special duct tape to join. The wheels are styrofoam rounds from the craft store wrapped in a garbage bag with tread duct tape around the edge, also attached with Makedo. Little guy will wear a construction man outfit and hard hat to “drive it.”

Whew! It's been a long week of working on my cardboard project, but it is finally finished! It went from this: To this! I made this dump truck for my cousin who will turn four on Monday. He is one of my favorite kids in the whole world! The truck is almost as tall as him!
