I experiment with a lot of drills and stimuli to try to get them to feel how powerful their hips and legs are. One thing I’m having a lot of success with currently is spreading them out wider than is comfortable and having them squat. I cue them to “fire their hips first” to initiate the swing. Now this will only work if you have drilled arm path mechanics with them. Another video. Another day. Hitting is harder than it looks and working through the pieces of a swing separately is important. It’s a process with a lot of moving parts.
