the late 1940's and 1950's was the return of the corset. After two decades of not emphasizing the female figure, fashion leapt from one extreme of having no figure to another extreme of showing and even forcing an hourglass figure.

This is a lovely old "teddie". The top hem is decorated with beige lace and it goes around whole top. The condition of the piece is pristine, appears unworn. One label inside reads 44, but please see measurements below to ensure a good fit.
