More 👇 Newborns don’t seem to be doing much those first few weeks of life, but they are actually developing a lot of skills! On top of feeding, they are also responding to auditory stimuli (your voice, family members’ voices) and visual stimuli (your face). They are working on strengthening all their little muscles in their head, neck and trunk & eye muscles (which is why they will occasionally go cross eyed). ✨This takes a lot out of them so they sleep a lot too!
