With a dash of Sphero mini and a splash of custom cardboard grannies inspired by cereal box holiday pop-ups my Makers were treated to a game of bowling for Grannie! No Grandma's were harmed in the making of this video! 🧓🏻🦌 #STEM #TeachersofInstagram #ElementarySchool #PrimarySchool #holidayparty #classparty #robotics #sphero #middleschool #StemEducation #classroom #school #schoolparty"

I used 1 @ghirardelli chocolate melt. • By the time you’ve added a chocolate to each cookie it will be soft enough to add your eyes and nose. • Lastly I melted some chocolate to secure the pretzel ears! Brittany Bacharach on Instagram: "Have you tried salt painting? It’s such a fun process art activity to do with your kids and the end result is always so pretty! Place paper in a tray. Use washable glue to make a design. Pour table salt all over and shake off excess. Use watercolor paint to tap onto the salt covered glue. Make sure your paint brush has a lot of water on it for best results. The finished product is meant to be enjoyed laying flat. If you hang it. Salt will fall. #kidsart #artforkids #kidscrafts #winterart #processart"

It’s one of my ‘go-tos’ when we are having big feelings or stress/anxiety levels are high. Here’s why: controlling your inhale and exhale has many benefits including: ⭐️ stress reduction ⭐️ improved concentration ⭐️ managing emotions ⭐️ improve self-awareness We used mini marshmallows and they were a great weight and size for this activity. Also, big hit with the kids! #sprinkleinlearning #halloween #breathingtechniques #breathingexercise #breathingexercises #managingemotions #emotion #staycalm #calmingvibes #stressreduction #kidsactivity #kidsactivities #activitiesforkids #activitiesforchildren #activitiesforpreschoolers #prekactivities #ghost #spookyseason #
Educator - Erin on Instagram: "✨Here’s an engaging art and science activity for kids! Combine 2 tablespoons of salt with 4 tablespoons of hot water (adult supervision recommended). Stir until the salt dissolves, then use the solution to paint on colored paper. Once it dries, the artwork will sparkle with salt crystals! ✨Materials: - Colored construction paper - Glass - 4 tablespoons of hot water - 2 tablespoons of fine salt - Paintbrush ✨Optional: - Hair dryer (to speed up drying and see the results faster) ✨Why Does It Happen? When the water evaporates, the salt crystallizes, leaving behind stunning, ice-like patterns! ✨ Share this fun experiment! ✨ Credit to @keep.kids.busy for sharing this idea 😍"

Science for Kids on Instagram: "Snowstorm in a Jar is a classic science activity for kids ❄️❄️❄️ We did this one last winter and plan to do it again. ✨Materials: • Big jar • Small jar • Water • Oil (any type) • White paint (that can be mixed with water) • Effervescent tablet ✨Science: The process is simple: first, combine white paint with water and pour it into a jar filled with oil. The water sinks to the bottom since it’s heavier than the oil. Then, drop in an effervescent tablet. The tablet reacts with the water, creating bubbles of carbon dioxide (CO₂) gas. These bubbles rise, lifting the paint and creating a snowstorm effect. Once the bubbles pop and release the CO₂, the “snow” falls back down, and the process repeats. #scienceforkids #activitiesforkids #science #giggles #wi
