2.5K views · 363 reactions | Save & share with your parent friends 🤍 & follow for more evidence based, reassuring info for parents There is a huge variance in what is within “typical” timeframes for meeting physical development milestones. Baby’s are incredible at exploring and problem solving to help their physical development. However, health professionals are out there for support and guidance if you have concerns. If your baby cannot do the following, it is recommended to see your GP or Child Physio for assessment and individual advice; ✨ Lift their head at 3months ✨ Sit independently by 9months (typical age 6-8 months) ✨ Roll front to back or back to front by 9 months (typical age 5-8months) ✨ Pull to stand at 12 months (typical age 8-11months) ✨ Independently move themselves around the floor by 11 months (this could be by bottom shuffling, crawling, typically at 8-10 months) ✨ Walk by 18 months (typical age range is 10 - 15 months) ⛔️ It is also important to note that typical ages of baby’s reaching developmental milestones vary. This is a guide, and remember you know your baby best, so do check in sooner if you are worried or concerned. #grossmotorskills #babydevelopment #babydevelopmentalmilestones #babyplay #babyplaytime #babyplayideas #parentingtips | Ciara McClarey

5K reactions · 142 shares | Let’s not set unrealistic expectations of infants & compare our babies. I always thought my son was delayed because he wasn’t crawling at 6 months & then I found out how unrealistic it really is lol some babies do, but MOST babies don’t. & that is OKAY. Just want other moms to know that all of this is perfectly fine. 🫶🏼💓🥰 . . . #babygirl #babygirl #babygirl🎀 #babymilestones #babymilestone #infant #cosleep #contactnap #cosleepingmama #secondtimemom #twoundertwo #motherhood #motherhoodunplugged #motherhoodrising #motherhoodjourney #motherhoodthroughinstagram #motherhoodsimplified #motherhoodinspired #motherhoodintheraw #motherhoodunfiltered #momsofinstagram #momsofig #momsofinsta | Livi Montgomery | ID Content Creator💖

14K views · 1K reactions | A question I get asked a lot! When can you start implementing a bedtime routine for my little one? Well here is my advice… ⭐️Around 1 month old, you can start to introduce a very short bedtime routine ⭐️ It should be calm and predictable, lasting around 10 minutes ⭐️ Try to include 2-3 components (e.g. bath, massage, cuddles, feed etc.) and aim to keep them in the same order each night ⭐️ Babies are becoming more wakeful at this age so be guided by their natural pattern and tired cues, rather than sticking to a strict routine . . . . #bedtime #bedroom #bedtimestories #bedtimeroutine #bedtimestory #bedtimereading #cuddles #feed #bottlefeed #breastfeed #baby #newborn #newbornbaby #babygirl #babyboy #sleep #sleepcoach #sleeping #sleepconsultant #holistic #holisticsleepcoaching #holisticsleepcoach #holisticsleep | Emily McInnes | Sound Asleep Coaching | draw close · thankful (Instrumental)
