Williamsburg Market basket pattern
Pattern for the "Williamsburg Market" basket. Requires a 10"W x 14"H Williamsburg D handle. I got my from NC Basketworks. Rim needs 5/8"braided seagrass. Experience beginner weaving level. Finished size: 14"W x 15"L x 8"H (w/o handle).

Intermediate level basket pattern. Of course, you can use a different accent color. "Intermediate" because I did not explain how to weave a reverse 3-rod arrow. There is a good explanation of that in Lynn Siler's The Ultimate Basket Book. Videos are also probably available. Since there are 36 stakes, you can weave a hex base with a Fibonacci pattern in the weavers: under 1, over 1, under 2, over 3. Message me if you would like to purchase a kit(s). Pattern only for "Nebraska" basket. Intermediate skills needed. Finished size:13"L x 6"W x 8"H (w/o handles). Techniques include: color placement, filled woven base, adding overlays, Cherokee Wheels. Sample picture uses space-dyed 1/2"F reed and 1/4"FO matching reed. Handles are 2 @ 6"W swing. All patterns and kits are designed for individuals with some basic weaving skills already learned. These are not tutorials but directions you can follow with prior knowledge and experience.
